Opening the Hips
to
Studio 351 Ring Road, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania 19317
The ability to advance the pelvis over the rider's legs is important for good alignment and posture. Opening the hips creates greater ease in applying leg aids and adds clarity to the seat aids.
In this workshop we will explore opening the hip and how that subtle movement helps maintain the alignment of the rider's spine. Many women riders tend to arch their lumbar spine. Opening the hips in a specific way will help riders maintain a lengthened spine without arching the back.
As an added bonus, a new project on the ideal organization for power and efficient movement in the horse, will be introduced. You will not want to miss it!
