New York, New York - Horseware is pleased to announce that the 30 Year Horseware Anniversary Video ‘Made by Horses, for Horses’ won best non- broadcast award at the EQUUS Film Festival in New York City, held this past weekend, November 20th-22nd, 2015.
Tom MacGuinness, CEO and founder of Horseware stated, 'We are thrilled beyond belief with our awesome ‘horse themed Oscar’. We have seriously enjoyed making our video and are blown away by how well it has been received amongst the equestrian community'.
The video was created to celebrate Horseware’s 30th Anniversary, highlighting our Irish Factory; where the famous Rambo Turnout Rugs are still made, in a fun video. We collaborated with acclaimed liberty horse trainer, Emma Massingale, and her team of Connemara ponies, as well as Equine Productions, to create a surprisingly different, yet delightful video. The video has gotten over 2 million views online between Facebook and You Tube. This has been our most successful and well received campaign to date.
We are also pleased to announce that Emma Massingale also won the award for best short documentary ‘No Reins, No Rules, No Limits’. Equine Productions also won the award for best mini documentary for their film ‘Get Your Heart Jumping’.
‘Legend of Longwood’, a children’s horse inspired movie, which Horseware was involved with as the main supplier of clothing for the film, won the award for best International Full Length Film.
Horseware thanks the entire judging panel and all the staff at the EQUUS Film Festival for a fabulous event. It was a fantastic experience to be a part of, and we are delighted for our award, as well as the success of Emma, Equine Productions and Legends of Longwood. We look forward to the 2016 EQUUS Film Festival.
