SHELBURNE, VT- Registration has opened for the 2015 American Morgan Horse Association's (AMHA) Awards Gala and Convention, which will take place February 27-28 in Minneapolis.
Registering early ensures special savings. The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is offering a special group rate to guests of the Convention; register by February 4 to take advantage of this discount. For those making their event reservations before February 1, there is a savings of $40.
The event kicks off Friday with a day of clinics at local Morgan barns, Hardwood Creek and Arcola Farm. Following the return to the hotel is the Annual Meeting of AMHA members and a welcome reception. Saturday is chock full of seminars, with special guests Patti Colbert, the 2014 Equine Industry Vision Award winner, who will address generational marketing; and world renown photographer, Scott Trees, who will discuss his lifetime photographing horses. The day ends with the awards gala banquet honoring the breed's top supporters and the annual AMHA/World Morgan Futurity Stallion Service Auction. The convention is open to all; AMHA membership is not required to attend.
