offers hair and body care products pH-balanced specifically for your horse
Equine Organix is a small company located in Hunterdon County, NJ, that offers the health-conscious horse owner hair and body care products that are pH-balanced just for horses, sulfate free, and have organic and all-natural ingredients.
“We started Equine Organix based on a simple philosophy: products should be good for horses, the equine community, and the environment,” says Ellen Quinn, co-owner of Equine Organix. “That’s why we make healthy products for horses, and why we give a portion of our proceeds to equine rescue and young rider organizations.”
Some of these organizations include Mylestone Equine Rescue, Tewksbury Trail Association, Pony Club, and ASPCA Horse Rescue. Equine Organix has also done “horse washes” at local shows and events, and donated the raised funds to various horse-related charities.
“The response to our horse washes has been fantastic,” explains Quinn. “For every horse we wash, the owner has purchased a bottle of our shampoo or detangler.”
Equine Organix has introduced two products: Organic Chamomile & Olive Oil Shampoo, and Organic Chamomile & Olive Oil Leave-In Mane & Tail Detangler. “We use only the best botanicals and organics in our formulas,” explains Quinn. “And because they are concentrated, a little goes a long way!”
The shampoo is perfect for repeated washings… with no sulfates, it is non-irritating and low-lathering (so it rinses easily), and being pH-balanced, it does not dry the coat. The detangler is perfect for leaving the mane and tail smooth and shiny for days. And both products smell wonderful!
“Even though we are a new company, we are quickly creating fans of Equine Organix,” Quinn says proudly. “Some of our faithful users include Betsy Steiner, International Dressage Rider and Trainer, and Kristin Schmolze, International 4-Star Eventer. There are a growing number of great testimonials on our website. ”
“For the holidays, we have a limited quantity of our shampoo in a 2 oz. bottle… it makes a perfect stocking stuffer,” adds Quinn.
