Whole Equine is a proud sponsor of 2016 Reno Extreme Mustang Makeover participants Tia Cook and Marshall, and Erin Adderley and Buddy. The competition will occur on Father’s Day Weekend at the Reno Rodeo in Reno, Nevada. Whole Equine is supplying the trainers and horses a selection of premium all-natural grooming supplies and supplements to enhance the horses’ health and shine.
The Extreme Mustang Makeover Competition features horse trainers selected for their talent and use of natural horsemanship techniques. The trainers have 100 days to train a wild mustang and present their capabilities at the event. All of the horses are available for adoption by competitive auction after the event.
Both trainers appreciate the benefits of natural horse care and both horses have bloomed since entering the trainers’ care. Tia Cook runs Triple C Training in Grass Valley, CA, and specializes in finish work and lessons. “Marshall has been such a pleasure to work with. This horse with so much personality and try! Marshall was picked up with rain rot and a rubbed out, chewed off tail and mane and a dull dry coat. With some good nutrition and some awesome coat care products from Whole Equine, Marshall's coat shines, he has gained weight and put on muscle. He feels good and looks good!! And has grown almost three inches on his tail! We love the coat care products from Whole Equine.” Erin Adderley, who also runs her own training business EA Horsemanship, is originally from Ohio and relocated to California to partner with other accomplished trainers at the Sliding J Ranch in Acampo, California. Erin specializes in western performance horses and colt starting. “I am so pleased with all of the products Whole Equine has supplied Buddy and I with. Buddy has gone from a thin horse with a dull coat, to a healthy looking horse who shines, literally!" Buddy and Marshall are Adderley’s and Cook’s first Extreme Mustang Makeover horses.
Whole Equine is very excited to be part of this event and to support Marshall and Buddy on their journeys to their new homes. We are very happy to see both horses’ transformations- both physically and mentally- and are especially pleased to know it has occurred with the help of the best natural care products.
